EL DORADO AND THE AMAZON is my second adventure/thriller. Whilst in Colombia I travelled to the areas which are central to the action. I swam with piranhas in the Amazon, was stalked by a giant anaconda, tracked caiman by night and witnessed the gold rush of the Pacific coast jungles of Choco which triggered a frenzy of claim-jumping and brought me into the path of the Colombian mafia.
“HE MAY DESTROY HIMSELF BUT HE WILL SURELY DESTROY YOU!”
The year is 1988. The allure and power of gold draws Alex Cavanagh, failed international mining magnate, to Colombia to revive his fortunes. He finds a dangerous land of anarchy, uncharted jungle and warring drug barons. With him is Frederica Allsop, newly divorced, emotionally and mentally scarred from a mysterious past but desperate to fulfil her life's ambition to see the Amazon River. Their passionate affair threatens to destroy them both and if it doesn’t, the cocaine cartel will!
EL DORADO AND THE AMAZON is a fast-moving action adventure of money, murder and betrayal. Cultures, loyalties and personalities clash in a desperate search for gold and redemption, which in the end boils down to a fight for survival.

The battle for Jerusalem is won and lost. The dust of the Six Day War settles. It is 1968. A feisty British heroine and an Arab war hero are trapped in a tangle of deceit and treachery, manipulated by a deranged extremist intent on toppling the region’s fragile stability. The Sword is a compelling novel which keeps you on the edge of your seat with multiple red herrings and intrigues till the final twist on the last page.
