My show, Dangerous Adventures
at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe was an amazing experience and I'm considering going again in 2020.
I tell and illustrate my real-life stories of adventure and intrigue and reveal how they inspired my novels.
You can help me decide!
Are you planning to be at this year's Edinburgh Festival and if so would you like to come to my show?
If there is plenty of interest I'll be there. If not, I'll stay here and write some more. Either way I shall really enjoy it. Time spent writing or talking about writing is time well spent!
CHRISTCHURCH, HIGHCLIFFE AND BROADSTONE LIBRARIES, DORSET
Come and hear about my Dangerous Adventures which began in Christchurch and led me to the Middle East, South America, Africa and the Far East and inspired the action adventure novels I write today.
Details nearer the time.
"Jo Boy" is the story of one woman's dangerous quest to rehabilitate a badly injured and abused horse. She is his only hope but maybe he is hers too

Many years of experience as a journalist and writer have brought me to my debut novel, The Sword - Blood Demands Blood, the first of many books I have planned. I trained as a news reporter on local weekly and daily newspapers before working in Fleet Street and then moving into radio and TV. I loved news reporting at all levels and leapt at the opportunity to travel and work in the Middle East, I wrote stories covering the tensions created in the Israeli occupied Arab territories following the Six Day War. The Sword - Blood Demands Blood, which opens in the old walled city of Jerusalem is set in that time. The Holy City left a lasting impression on me and I felt I had to write something which would convey to the reader the power that Jerusalem wields over us all, whether we have been there or not and why to this day, after centuries of strife, we still fight for it.
